Here is the third and final day of this amazing wedding. This day held the religious ceremony at the Mosque. I had never been to a Mosque before this, so I was super excited and a little nervous. All was well though. As you can see Carly looked like a Goddess. I mean, come on I'm not sure one can be so decorated and beautiful at the same time.
One thing that really stuck out to me was how the men and women are separated during the service. In the photo above you can see Carly's mini throne for her to sit on while the ceremony goes on below, on the first floor.
The ladies watch the ceremony from above.
Father of the Bride
One of my favorite photos from this day. Mother of the bride and the bride exchanging reassuring looks.
Then the ceremony moves to the basement for a feast, where the men and women are still separate.
Carly gets her hands washed after the feast, before she sees her new groom for the first time. Well, not really, but traditionally this would be the case.
The bride removes the beading covering the grooms eyes.
Groom and father of the groom, mess around after all the traditions come to an end.
